Ribbon tools offer cutting loops made of flattened metal ribbons with sharpened edges. Ribbon tools are used for cutting, shaping, trimming and hollowing both wheel-thrown and sculptural forms.
This tool consists of a smooth hardwood handle with 1/8" wide high-strength stainless steel ribbons held firmly by steel ferrules. This is a 7-1/2" long tool with 3/4" wide loops. Suitable for medium to heavy duty cutting work.
