A very useful tool for the studio or classroom. This adjustable Clay Cutter is perfect for cutting uniform slabs, tiles, extrusions and pugs. Functioning like a “cheese cutter,” the horizontal black roller slides up and down the vertical bars to adjust the distance between the pipe and the cutting wire, once the desired thickness is determined the thumb screws can be tightened to hold that dimension. Set this space for the thickness you desire and pull through the clay to cut a uniformly thick slab, pug or extrusion. The Clay Cutter can cut slabs up to 12" wide and between 1/8" to 6" deep.
