Imifabi Talc is only part of the major materials required for our 4 Bag Low Fire Casting Clay.
DESCRIPTION
With the absence of Amtal C-98 Talc, this is now the most widely accepted replacement low fire casting recipe.
The ball clay found in this recipe imparts great dry strength for handling and the talc gives good casting, drying and glaze fit properties. Even a beginner can cast it successfully and very difficult shapes can be made because of its high wet and drying strength. It has both a fast casting rate and good strength and also has an amazingly white fired fired finish.
Mixing the three ingredients shown below along with the sodium silicate and soda ash will yield an excellent low fire casting body.
